Select Five player for All -Star team From Furness High school Boys Soccer.

Congratulation to Geri  Alimadhi, Cristhian Bautisa Santos, Santosh Gurung, Jawad Khan and Joseph Mendez for  select for All start team of the Public league. They would  be All Star Team and they will be playing in the All Star Game and in the All State Game as well this November.

Furness Spark Goalkeeper Seniors Geri Alimadhi had clean sheet and  Spark Forward seniors Santosh Gurung leading scorer of Furness and top scorer of Public League, they named for begin First team off  all public league . Geri  Alimadhi finished 2nd in voting for Player of the Year in the whole entire league.

Best defender Seniors Cristhian Bautisa Santos was intelligence player with lot’s of experiences to handle soccer at defender and moving forwards with creative ball control, dribbling around other player and sent to upper ninety.  He named to  begin second team of all Public league.

Furness Boys soccer selects for All Star team

Congratulation to  Spark  Seniors goalkeeper of Furness Geri Alimadhi, Best Senior defender of Furness Cristhian Bautisa Santos and Spark Seniors forwards Santos, Santosh Gurung, Jawad Khan, Joseph Mendez for select All star team from Furness. All – Star Soccer team of Public League  , they will be playing in the All Star Game and in the All State Game as well this November with different public school.

Spark forwards Santosh Gurung had top scorer of Furness by scoring 25 goals off the  season, he was leading scorer for Furness for victory. Joseph Mendez is great dribbler player of Furness  to creates chance on and giving assist all the time. Jawad Khan  making the simple effective pass, organizing the midfield, and providing physical leadership.

Seniors Goalkeeper Geri Alimadhi made a clean sheet and  lot of saves named  1 st team off the public league. Seniors Defender Cristhian Bautisa Santos being best defender and  he had lot of experience to play forward and defender, he can dribble around enemy player  and  sent a curling ball toward the upper ninety.

Furness Boys soccer season Preview

Furness had to play the three tough soccer team  in the Public league Central, Northeast and Washington. Furness barely lost to Central, then against Washington they led 3-1 before Washington came back to win 4-3. Furness then tied Northeast of their seasonal games with last years Public league champs. They did well through the rest of the season, winning five of their remaining seven games for a final record of 6-3-2, notching a fifth place finish of Philadelphia Public A Division Boys soccer.

Furness won First round playoffs of Public league against Tacony Charter 5-0. Then they upset fourth seeded Fels 3-2 to earn a place in the Public league semifinal.

Furness was face against  the Number one Washington, when Washington scored, it looked like Furness season was finally coming to an end. it was tough game to handle and created chance on Furness and bagging woods work.

In the second half, team leader Jawad Khan brought a cleared ball down calmly and fed it to Kue Luie. That was what he’d been doing all year, being in the right place, making the simple effective pass, organizing the midfield, and providing physical leadership for a small team.

Luie was a creative force. He danced around a Washington mid and laid a measured diagonal pass inside the eighteen. The Washington keeper was forced into action and charged out, but arrived late, as Nhan Phan one-timed past him for a goal that was as much about passing as it was about finishing.

Washington had periods of pressure but couldn’t convert. The game went to sudden death overtime, and Furness moved the ball around, creating waves of pressure. Finally senior leader Christian Bautista collected a loose ball. He dribbled around two Washington players and sent a curling ball toward the upper ninety.

Spark Furness seniors Santosh Gurung scored with 2 minutes left in the first OT period on a PK shooting right down the middle, goalie went left.

Furness were on their way to Public league Boys soccer championships for a first time seeing Furness moving forward in a row with prefect records and all straight win in the playoffs.

Furness had already won their way to the Public League 2A title, but they had a chance on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 to play for the Public League championship when they faced off with Northeast High School.

Furness plays Public league Championships games against last season Public league champs Northeast . Northeast  Hernandez-Carrera immediately rose to the occasion, drew up worked perfectly and Mohamed Elgayar tapped the indirect free kick to Hernandez-Carrera, who ripped a line drive past the outstretched hand of the Furness keeper. Adin Hernandez score a goal, It was the moments when the ball wasn’t in play when he earned his title .

With less than three minutes left, the Furness spark goalie Geri Alimadhi  sent a free kick into the Northeast box from just outside midfield. The long drive ricocheted off the head of Elgayar and into his team’s net for an own goal, Furness made equalizer 1-1 at the end off the games.

They to play another 20 minutes or wining goal, Hernandez-Carrera stepped in and scored the goal against the replacement keeper less than two minutes into overtime. Northeast a 2-1 victory over Furness and its second straight Public League boys’ soccer championship. Furness get advanced to play two more game in row.

Furness on Thursday night for the District 12 Class AA boys soccer championship at Northeast High School against Lansdale Catholic.  Lansdale catholic edges Furness for third straight district 12 title.  Still Furness get one last chance to play in the row for 2015 PIAA  Class AA Boys Soccer Championships against Lancaster  Mennonite on November 10, 2015 at Hershey Park Stadium.

Lancaster Mennonite  had a few tense minutes in the second half, but never trailed in a 3-1 win over Furness in the opening round of the PIAA Class AA boys’ soccer

Furness  (9-6-2), the District 12 runner up, did not get many chances with just two corners and two shots. But they did convert when Cristhian Bautisa Santos dribbled into the box and scored with 20:51 left in the game. Although Furness did have a couple of other chances, there were no other truly dangerous attempts.

For Furness it was a sad moment, but the team knew that they had come a long way. Furness coach Ferreira knew that the team had performed beyond his expectations. They knew how to move the ball and  behind each other all the way.

Furness done their season with Fifth place of Public League of A Division Boys Soccer  and Runner up Public league Champs that would indicates good soccer season for a next fall.

2015 PIAA Class AA Boys Soccer Championships First round

On Tuesday November 10,2015, Furness  Boys soccer were playing 2015 PIAA Class AA Boys Soccer Championship against District 3-AA Boys Soccer Championships team Lancaster Mennonite at 5:30 Pm at Hershey Park Stadium.

Lancaster Mennonite claims districts  3-AA BOYS Soccer crown over Gettysburg. Lancaster Mennonite score a early goals then was forced to play defense deep in its own end for the second half to claim a 2-1 win over Gettysburg in district 3-AA Final on last Thursday night at Hershey park.

Furness make their huge record to the Public League Championships this season for a first time seeing South Philly  school moving forward up to final, it was unbelievable result that even never thought one small school would get crowd happy and see moving forwards to Championships of the public league. Furness blast their season with huge record off  and face number team and last years public league champion Northeast.

Furness lost in Championships by 2-1 score. With less than three minutes left, the Furness spark goalie Geri Alimadhi  sent a free kick into the Northeast box from just outside midfield. The long drive ricocheted off the head of Elgayar and into his team’s net for an own goal. Furness made equalizer 1-1 at the end off the games.

They to play another 20 minutes or wining goal, Hernandez-Carrera stepped in and scored the goal against the replacement keeper less than two minutes into overtime. Northeast a 2-1 victory over Furness and its second straight Public League boys’ soccer championship.

Furness advanced to play District 12 Class AA  Boys Soccer Championships against Lansdale Catholic on Last Thursday night on Northeast supper -sties. Lansdale Catholic edges Furness for third  district 12 title.

In the Furness v. Northeast  Public League Championship were underway,  In the Eight minutes into the second half, a Furness defender committed a foul about 23 yards away from the net.

Northeast  Hernandez-Carrera immediately rose to the occasion, drew up worked perfectly and Mohamed Elgayar tapped the indirect free kick to Hernandez-Carrera, who ripped a line drive past the outstretched hand of the Furness keeper. For Furness it was their first time seeing moving forward into a championships game off the public league, Furness face number one team of the public league. Still Furness had chance to play two more games in row.

yesterday Furness played AA City championships games against Lansdale Catholic ,Ryan Magarity scored from Noah Saba in the first half and Lansdale Catholic claimed its third straight title with a 1-0 win over Furness at Northeast.

Furness had still one more games to face on of PISSA first round on Tuesday, if they loss again they will done their season, if they win a game they will had  advanced to play more play game.

Furness Boys Soccer Road to Championship Games

Furness were road to grand Championships games off the public league tomorrow at 7pm against number one team off the public league Northeast. This was a first time seeing Horace Furness High School Boys soccer were road to grand Championships. Last season 2014-15 Boys Soccer of public league Furness were B Division Champs of the public League and this season Furness were into Championships games off the public league, it was unbelievable record for Furness to watch and see in row for Championships Games.

Furness come long way to fight for A Division in a row to win and stay at Fifth place off the Philadelphia Public A Division Boys Soccer, this season Furness face tough team on the playoffs they win all three matches in row and advanced into Championships game with their high pressure. The fresh seniors Santosh Gurung was a leading score for Furness and he score a goals for a entire seasonal game and wining goal on Public league Semi – Final against Washington.

On Saturday October 31, 2015 Furness faced Semi Final against Washington on Northeast Super sites, it was tough game to handle and created chance on Furness and bagging woods work. Washington score a first goals in the first half  but starting second half Furness made equalizer.

They had to play another 20 more minutes or wining goal Furness rode pressure and found another goal from spark Furness seniors Santosh Gurung scored with 2 minutes left in the first OT period on a PK shooting right down the middle, goalie went left.
